OJSC “GEOTECHNOKIN-SERVICE”

Production service base in Nizhnevartovsk with a total area of 22,000 sq. m., personnel employed – 140 people. The base has appropriate specialized machinery, equipment and chemical agents, required for operation. The base’s technical facilities include a certified chemical laboratory fit to monitor parameters of chemical solutions and conduct quick tests of process liquids and cement slurry, a plant for monitoring the parameters of process liquids and cement slurry, a filtering plant, etc.

The company is currently conducting a complete set of geological-geophysical research activities in wells, employing methods of nuclear physics (carbon-oxygen logging) in oil and gas wells of fields in Western Siberia, Orenburg Region, Saratov Region, Udmurtia, Krasnodar Region and other regions of the country. In Samotlorsk and Krasnoleninsk fields there have been detected new major oil-gas reservoirs, the oil-drainage boundary has been expanded in Achimovsky unit at Belozersky elevation, for many locations there have been determined values of oil and gas saturation in the productive stratum profile and current values of gas-oil contact, the effectiveness of geological-technological activities has been increased for many wells of the return fund.

The company carries out repair and renewal operations on wells, including liquidation of fluid channeling, liquidation of casing leaks, of gas breakthrough, of disastrous lost circulation at well drilling, further including selective water shutoff, non-damaging well-control and emergency well killing well acidizing, etc. The repair and renewal technologies employed are based on the use of gelling agents and sediment-forming chemicals, visco-elastic compositions, polymer and cement compositions in combination with surface-active agents, plasticizers, inhibitors and activators of thickening and setting.
